Availability

To create new Runtimes, the Datalayer services must be up-and-running.

Any assigned Runtime will remain reachable even if the Datalayer services are completely down.

The availabilty of the Datalayer services can be viewed on this Status page.

Fault Tolerance

Once the Jupyter Runtime is assigned to its client, it is stateless and the Datalayer services can be completely down while keeping serving existing users.

The access to the Runtime is assured by the Kubernetes Ingress.
